From the Brewsta Million music archives, King Mez’s “Long Live The King” takes us back to the independent hip-hop coverage featured on the site in 2014. Originally posted in April of that year, the release remains part of Brewsta Million’s growing archive of music from the era.

During the early and mid-2010s, music blogs played an important role in helping listeners discover artists and new releases outside of traditional radio. Brewsta Million regularly used the platform to spotlight songs, mixtapes, videos and independent artists alongside major releases.

Instead of removing worthwhile releases because the original posts were short, Brewsta Million is preserving the music while adding enough context for today's readers to understand why the page remains in the archive.
